This depends fully on your own goals and how fluent you want to be. I recommend at least 6-10 conversation hours a week, 10-15 hours would be better, plus some extra hours for homewwork.
That is very ambitious, but not impossible. It all depends which level you already have and which you want to achieve. To reach a good level in German in a short period of time you have to dedicate some extra hours a week.
Have conversations with native speakers will help you quickly. Not only do you learn the pronunciation, you can correct mistakes in advance. This way you get direct feedback. It also helps to read German magazins and newspapers out loud and listen to German news on TV or radio.
We'll meet at a comfortable place on the Westside in Los Angeles and are having conversations about topics you're interested in. It's more about learning by doing instead of digging deep into thick grammar books. Nevertheless, there are some worksheets involved to repeat what has been learned. One meet up should last at least 2 hours to get your mind into German thinking.
It's more natural, flexible and you can see the body language which is a big part in conversations. The lesson can be held in a grocery store, a coffee shop, a park or we go for a walk. For example, we can talk about what we see, which is typically part of the daily small talk one should master. And all that happens in natural surroundings where such conversations usually happen.
Please do so at least 24 hours upfront in writing to the email address from the booking confirmation. Otherwise one hour will be deducted from your booked package as a cancellation fee.
